We are ready for

What happens when you arrive

  1. Our emergency team sees you straight away and checks how urgent your condition is.
  2. A doctor examines you and starts treatment.
  3. If you need a specialist, the consultant on duty is called in.
  4. If you need to stay, you move to our ICU or ward in the same building.

What to bring, if you can

  • Any photo ID
  • A list of the medicines the patient takes
  • Previous reports or discharge summaries
  • Insurance card or policy number
  • The phone number of one family member

Never delay coming to hospital to look for documents.

Stroke and heart attack: every minute matters

Sudden face drooping, weakness in an arm, slurred speech, or chest pain that spreads to the arm, jaw or back need care within minutes. Call an ambulance — do not drive yourself.
