Professional Biography & Background
Dr C. Geetha Sankari is a general and laparoscopic surgeon and co-founder of Atlas Hospitals, where she is Executive Director. She treats gallstones, hernias, appendicitis, piles, fissures and fistulas, and breast and skin lumps, using keyhole surgery wherever it is safe.
She completed her MBBS and MS in General Surgery at Thanjavur Medical College and later completed fellowships in laparoscopy (minimal access surgery), proctology and diabetology. Many women choose her care for surgical problems, and she gives public talks on women's health and cancer awareness.
